Over the past several months I have embarked on an artistic collaboration with writer-director Hal Carlton-Ford to create a body of work to appear in his debut feature-length film, Styx. Currently I'm in the process of creating a series of photographic sculptures to chart the evolution of Styx's main character, Peggy, in her journey through grief and transformation as she gradually adopts the persona of her deceased cousin, Christy, as artist.
I'm pleased to share that the first in this series has been accepted into the upcoming exhibition Under the Magnifying Glass at Gallery Cubed in Dumbo, Brooklyn. Please join us and celebrate on July 11 at 5:30pm.
